What started out as a couple of people's desire to be able to write and record their own music has turned into a magical place that has helped to inspire many more than was ever expected. With its humble beginnings in the spare bedroom of a house, Trumble Hill Studios has grown into a large family of musicians, singers, songwriters, and engineers that can rival any Nashville or L.A. studio. In 2009 with the encouragement and endless help of friends and family Jeffrey Chapman and friends built a recording studio from the ground up. In its short time in existence Trumble Hill has spawned numerous full length CDs as well as countless demos, songs, and good times.
With the natural beauty of the Ozarks, musical inspiration seems to drip off the trees around Trumble Hill located less than 10 minutes from Current River. That combined with the evergrowing THS family and their pure dedication to music makes Trumble Hill absolutely one of a kind. Although its very rural location on the family farm makes Trumble Hill a bit hard to find, once you get there it's much harder to leave.
Building a Dream
Some key points about the studio's constuction are its double insulated interior walls for sound proofing, its vaulted ceiling and floating hardwood floors and offset walls to prevent standing sound waves. The outside dimentions are 24' by 40' with 10' walls.
Building the studio was definately a labor of love. It would have never been possible without the help of family, friends, and the community at large. I am forever in their debt!
